Dapper Barons™ was founded in St Paul, MN by three close friends passionate about low-sugar lifestyles and equally passionate about cocktails.
In 2020, wanting to enjoy a quality cocktail without all the sugar, Jeff starting crafting alternate versions of classic cocktails using natural sugar substitutes. He focused on liqueurs, which are typically the source of a cocktail's sweetness. After 200+ batches and a few tasting parties, he pulled in a few friends to bring the concept to life.
How Dapper Barons Began
A year later, the USA's first liqueurs with a near sugar-free profile (only 1.3g per 1.5 fl oz) hit the market, offering 90% less sugar than traditional liqueurs. Building on their experience making liqueurs, Dapper Barons expanded into the ready-to-drink category with the first-ever Zero Sugar Espresso Martini, Zero Sugar Amaretto Sour, and Zero Sugar Old Fashioned.
